To achieve success, Excalibur Media implements creative publicity plans that combine our proven methods with innovative techniques.
National Publicity
Our publicity work has placed authors on most every major television program including Today, Live with Regis and Kelly, The View, Food Network, Good Morning America, O’Reilly Factor, Oprah, Martha Stewart and World News Tonight. We have had feature articles, interviews and reviews in most every national magazine including Parade, Time, People, Entertainment Weekly, Gourmet, TV Guide, Fortune, Nature, Architectural Digest, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Sports Illustrated, Playboy and Rolling Stone as well as coverage in most of the top 50 newspapers and military publications in the country.
Regional Publicity
Excalibur Media will pursue and coordinate media bookings in selected regions anywhere in the country. For example, if you are based in Philadelphia, we would extend the coverage to include as far north as New York and as far south as Washington, DC. Basically, we would service a radius within a few hours of your location. These bookings will include live and/or taped television, radio guest appearances, local magazine and weekly and daily newspaper coverage. We would also coordinate your speaking engagements, presentations or demonstrations within the region.
Intensive Local Focus Publicity
If you need to hit just one market with everything you’ve got, we can do that too. For example, in a typical tour city, we may send out anywhere from 20 to 30 review copies depending on your budget and the book’s topic. If we’re targeting just one market – say it’s the setting or the topic of the book – we can double or triple that amount, dig deeper into the media lists and go for saturation coverage.
