Our People
If it weren't for our people and their individual and collective experience, we wouldn't be so good, check out our bios above.

Our Office
Our main office is in a converted 3-story stone gate house built in 1911 and designed by “old school” architect Theophilus Parsons Chandler. We think it’s a pretty cool place to work and it’s got the right vibe for what we do. Besides that, it’s the kind of place where a sword can hang on the wall and most people don’t think it’s tacky. We have a few tapestries too. If you’re out this way, we’ll be happy to meet with you here though we travel all along the east coast to stay in touch with our clients and the important media contacts we have cultivated over the years.

  Our Office
Our Space
Just because our office looks a little like a small keep from the Middle Ages, don’t think us old fashioned… if we could teleport your book to reviewers we would.

We are a 21st century company and use the technology especially created for fast publicity companies on the go. Excalibur Media subscribes to MediaSource for our contact database and editorial calendar management.

It’s hard to believe that in an age of Bluetooth, YouTube, MySpace and Google that some publicity companies still use outdated books and spreadsheets of media lists as their contacts system and claim they can take the pulse of the media. With this proprietary online system, we can access our contacts anywhere and get updates to changes in personnel and events daily. The premium we budget to use this system pays for itself in the accuracy of the information and the scope of the contacts. For your project, whatever the focus may be, we’ll find the right ones as there are hundreds of thousands of journalists, analysts, editors, and producers to target.

Though our senior people get face-to-face meetings with producers from Good Morning America, Dateline NBC and other national shows, with our system we also know within a day, sometimes two, when a Twin Cities radio talk show host crosses the bridge and switches stations from Minneapolis to St. Paul.

Our Office Space
No TPS reports here. We don’t waste time making work for you or extra work for ourselves. Our reports to you will be clear and concise and updated bi-weekly.
  TPS Reports

Swingline   Furthermore, since we don’t have our office space on Madison Avenue, we don’t have to add the lease payment into our client’s retainer. Our philosophy on office space is keep it quick and mobile...like light infantry. Wherever there is a laptop, a mobile phone or a pad and pen, we can make that our office space since we carry the talent and experience with us wherever we go. We keep our fees reasonable and focus on results not reports.
